The distributor has debuted two food products and three spirits

Food Accademia has launched three Italian Spirits and two food products into travel retail at Venice Marco Polo Airport.

Maxi Milian Gin, Castagner Grappa Prosecco Ice, Intrigo Rosso Vermouth, and food products Merì La Meringa del Doge and Rose Veneziane, are now on-shelf in Lagardère’s premium food and drink store Bottega dei Sapori at the airport.

Food Accademia CEO Fabrizio Canal said: “I am delighted to offer these very special products as part of our portfolio and to strengthen further our partnership with Lagardère Travel Retail.

“I am grateful to the Lagardère team for introducing these wonderful and unique Italian products that will enrich the travelling shopper’s experience, allowing them to enjoy and share these very special Italian treats at their destination.”

The award-winning Maxi Milian Ginis triple-distilled and made from 100% Italian-sourced and natural ingredients, with all the materials, from bottle to packaging, crafted from natural fibres and 100% recyclable.

Castagner Grappa Prosecco Ice has been created to be enjoyed ice-cold as an after-dinner drink. Meanwhile, Intrigo Rosso Vermouth is a new release from Spiriti Occulti, created by bar managers Andrea Pellizzato and Marco Gasparello with art director Riccardo Pellizzato, it has strong links to the Veneto region.

Both the new food products come from artisanal confectioner Biscotto Farm. Merì La Meringa del Doge is a range of meringues made in the tradition of pastry chefs and available in nine flavours. Rose Veneziane is a traditional biscuit with a shape recalling the desert rocks of the same name, with three flavours.
